The Mirgan community from the Kotpad area in Koraput district, Odisha, is renowned for their exquisite organic dyed textiles. They typically weave these textiles for the Bhotada, Dharua, and other neighboring tribal communities, incorporating motifs unique to each tribe.
They source raw materials from the local market. Processing the colors and dyeing the threads into various shades takes approximately 15 to 30 days.
